Regensburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Regensburg, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

This place is a scam! The reality of the apartment look nothing like in the photos. Wall papers are peeled off and taped back with transparent sticky tapes. There are holes and cracks in wall. Shower panels are crack and dirty. Toilet is smelly, radiator is rusty, kitchen sinks are dirty. The pillows are absolutely flat. There are no ventilators, let alone AC in the room so when it’s 30 degrees outside it’s impossible to sleep. The street outside is noisy so opening the windows means disturbed sleep. Wifi didn’t work. We contacted the host and they talked as if we are stupid. In my many years of travelling never have I stayed at such a horrible place. Absolutely stay away!

All the comforts were expected, but... Wi-Fi works, but poorly, one moment it works, the next moment it doesn't. Therefore, only 4 stars

Actualy I spent night at the top apartment. For sleep okay not for spending daytime.

Excellent residence with all required amenities for family tourists. Nice location in Regensburg.

This apartment is described "child friendly" & high standard! For the same price (€160/night at Christmas) we could have stayed in a modern, clean hotel. Heating was turned "on" at arrival, not before, in winter, at night, with 2 pre-school kids - welcome to a cold flat! Cleaning chemicals were found on the bottom shelves of 2 seperate cupboards. Walls were cracked & dirty and wallpaper found peeling. Party music & noise from below until late night, with drunken party-goer(s) vomiting outside. Cleaning of flat not well done. Shower screen broken (or never correctly installed). Window shutter in the kitchen wouldn't go lower than 1/4 distance. Entrance door could not be secured from inside, to stop kids opening door. Rubbish sitting next to external bins. Etc.
