Busy periods are the tyre-change weeks in spring and autumn and the days before the summer holidays, and breakdown cover through ADAC or your insurer is worth having.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Highly recommended Fahrschule for many reasons. They will guide you well throughout the process, right from the application at KVR. Very desciplined throughout the practical sessions. The practical lessons were pretty consistently and convenienly planned. Not a single cancellation of any lesson occured from their side. About the driving instructor - Simon, a very patient person who gave detailed instructions about every possible scenario during the lessons. Helped a lot with the doubts and test preparation. All the possible areas and routes were covered before the test. That helped a lot during the test. Keep it up all the good work!

Had a great experience with Fahrschule Bogenhausen. My instructor was Simon and I could not have asked for a better instructor. He is very clear and accurate while giving instructions, at the same time extremely calm and patient while answering your questions. He taught in both, English and German which was crucial for me. Passed my driving exam in first attempt. The office staff is also very prompt in responding to all the queries. I would highly recommend this Fahrschule.

Instructor Simon was remarkable in teaching all the details and extremely patient in repeating the instructions no matter how many times we ask for.. He taught in both English and German which was crucial for me. Passed my driving lessons in my first attempt. The office staffs were prompt in all the queries and processes too.. I 'd highly recommend this Fahrschule.

I had a great experience getting my driving licence here. Tobi was my driving instructor and he was the best teacher I could ask for! He was always relaxed and encouraging but kept me challenged and focused - the perfect conditions for learning :) Everybody at the driving school is also very friendly and they always made an effort to make sure that schedules worked well - this is not a given due to the high demand for driving lessons!

Super driving school, highly recommend! I had Tobi as instructor and he was amazing. He was always friendly, patient and resourceful, I looked forward to every lesson. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor really. Passed both theory and practical exams on first try!! Very happy with my choice :)
