For anything on wheels, from a tyre change to a new vehicle, the basics apply: confirm the price up front, ask about the warranty on parts and labour, and get a receipt. Third-party insurance is compulsory, and the dealer will usually arrange the registration (Zulassung) and number plates for you. Busy periods are the tyre-change weeks in spring and autumn and the days before the summer holidays, and breakdown cover through ADAC or your insurer is worth having.

Opening hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 3–6:30 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I highly recommend Fahrschule Biebow, especially my driving instructor, Flavio Heinfling. I passed my practical driving exam on my first attempt, and I’m very happy with my experience! Booking driving lessons and preparing for the theory exam was very easy and convenient with the app provided by the driving school. Since my German is not perfect, I chose to take my driving lessons in English. Flavio explained everything clearly, professionally, and with a lot of patience. He always made sure I felt calm and comfortable during the lessons and created a very positive and supportive learning atmosphere. Thank you, Flavio and Fahrschule Biebow, for helping me successfully get my driving licence! 😊

A big thank you to Fahrschule Biebow-Heise and especially my Fahrlehrer Christian for making my driving license process so smooth and easy! It is Christian's patience, guidance and explaining every rule till I understand it well that led me to successfully clear the exam in first attempt! He was always patient with me, especially because my German skills are not very good. I strongly recommend and praise my driving instructor for being so supportive! Booking classes on app and online was smooth and easy. Best wishes and thank you to the whole Biebow-Heise Team!

I highly recommend this driving school, particularly my instructor, Timo. The driving lessons were always well-structured, which made the whole learning process much easier. I especially appreciated the handout materials, like the clear, step-by-step guidance for parking. These materials were incredibly helpful. On top of that, Timo is a fantastic instructor – very friendly and supportive, making the whole learning process enjoyable!

Amazing experience at Fahrschule Biebow-Hiese. It's very conveniently located in Pasing, right by Tram stop and the class schedule is flexible too. My instructor Sladan ( Sladi) was super nice, very accommodating, well versed in English and adjusted my classes according to my previous experience. From the first class to exam, it took only 3.5 weeks and I feel very confident in driving in Munich now :) Highly recommended!

It was easy to register in the Fahrschule, staff is friendly. Replies to query emails is prompt. ** Update July 2022 I like the transparency of the Fahrschule. Mobile app is a big part of it. You can book driving classes, cancel them check how many classes have attended. It made my life easier. Of course, driving instructor is the biggest part of you getting your license. I appreciate Flavio for his guidance and support during the driving classes and in getting the license.
