Erich Lorz

Located at Knappertsbuschstraße 20, 81927 München-Bogenhausen, Erich Lorz operates as a kfz-werkstätten serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Cars in Germany need the main inspection (Hauptuntersuchung, by TÜV or DEKRA) every two years, and a workshop that handles it for you is worth keeping in your contacts. Ask for an itemised estimate before work starts, check whether the price includes labour and VAT, and ask whether original or aftermarket parts are used. A Vertragswerkstatt costs more than an independent workshop but keeps the manufacturer's warranty intact, and winter tyres are required whenever conditions are wintry.

Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in München keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. You can reach Erich Lorz on 089 938108; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp.

It has a Google rating of 3.7 out of 5, though from only 3 reviews so far, so treat the score as an early indication rather than a verdict.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.
