For anything on wheels, from a tyre change to a new vehicle, the basics apply: confirm the price up front, ask about the warranty on parts and labour, and get a receipt. Third-party insurance is compulsory, and the dealer will usually arrange the registration (Zulassung) and number plates for you. Busy periods are the tyre-change weeks in spring and autumn and the days before the summer holidays, and breakdown cover through ADAC or your insurer is worth having.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 43748000. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.
