München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Called about a product availability, was assured on the phone, asked if I had to reserve the product, once again assured there is no need, turns out someone is a liar and it’s not me

Really nice store. Not big but big enough. They have lots and lots of products the family or singles need. Fresh meats, veggies and fruits. Clean and very helpful

Great selection of foods

It is big considering it is in the middle of Munich. The offer is good enough. Big issue: from the moment you set a foot in it, you have no phone reception or internet until you're outside again.

Small but good.

Clean and big grocery store where you can find almost everything you need on a daily basis with only a few big brands missing in their Sortiment

One of the bigger supermarkets in the area. Friendly staff, good prices. Decent selection, but nothing special considering the size. Best suited for fresh produce and some bio-food goods for healthy eating.

Durand D'souza 10 years ago

Expensive and not well stocked. Friendly staff
