München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I always go here for groceries, which are very good quality. So I gave their dine-in a try. Just wanted to try the bruschetta as a snack and order more things if I liked it. Needless to say, I did not order anything more. Bread was incredibly tough, and i could barely discern anything in the tomato other than a general sogginess. It took half an hour to receive this disappointing experience and no one was even interested in taking our order for 15 minutes before that. I believe I will save my time and stick to their grocery items in the future.

It's rather a poor choice for gluten free options. Although low (sic) gluten pizzas ARE an option, it's probably the only one. The staff were understanding about GF but couldn't offer any other option (such as bread to eat with the antipasti). I'm still hungry. I'm quite annoyed about this since Eataly is an Italian company and gluten intolerance is widely known in Italy itself with multiple pasta companies offering a whole range of choices.

I had lunch here vs local spots because A Tour Guide mentioned to me. This place was fantastic. Service was horrible. I think they actually forgot my pizza until I reminded them, there was a server change that nobody told me. A table next to me was also trying to find her server and pizza. The food was completely unimpressive and I did not feel like it was local but instead of a high tourist trap. I would’ve gone two stars but the market actually seems lovely as there is a full grocery store on the other side that is beautiful.

You can find artisan pasta, some of the best canned tomato brands, great dips, wide variety of cheeses and meat, fresh vegetables and fruits from Italy and snacks. The prices are VERY high. The cafe has big sweet selection and a big seating area. I love to shop here.

Was here for lunch, you can eat or buy their Italy products here. Had the pasta alle vongole, the pasta no taste at all, was cold & the clams are smelly .. not recommended maybe this dish! Had dessert tiramisu, slightly sweet but taste fine
