München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Disrespectful waiting time 😕

Ridiculous waiting time, despite having an appointment I had to wait for close to 3 hours. That’s an utter waste of time. The staff is very friendly.

Even with an appointment, I had to wait more than an hour. Then, I asked the receptionist if the doctor was even there. The receptionist told me to wait a few more minutes, and the doctor would be there. However, it took another 15 minutes.

Be prepared to wait - 1 hour if you‘re lucky, however I‘ve waited for 2-3 hours a couple of times and left without seeing a doctor. Horrible experience
