Security person here gets 'zero' star 🤮 I was surprised by my experience at this DM. I understand that Ostbahnhof is an area where shoplifting can be a concern, but the way customers are treated here feels excessive. Security was manually checking many shoppers, which made me feel uncomfortable and suspected for no reason. We only stopped by for a few last-minute travel essentials before catching our train and had just a few items. Despite that, we were checked. I've visited many DM stores across Germany and have never experienced this before. In 2026, it's disappointing to see customers subjected to random manual inspections instead of using more modern loss-prevention methods. Security is important, but it should be handled in a way that respects honest customers.

I was looking at the essence products in your store today when one of your workers was busy restocking the shelf, said to me “bitte nicht öffnen, der tester ist da” I told her I wasn’t opening them then she raises her voice and tells me she didn’t say I was, she’s just telling me. So I told her, please don’t kick me, then she says I’m not kicking you. So I said I know, but I’m just saying please don’t kick me. Then she keeps speaking to me in an elevated tone insisting that she’s telling all the customers not to open the products. Getting offended by what I just told her, funnily enough. Anyway, that was clearly not true. She only said it to me based on my skin colour. I said I was going to mention here that she was being racist as she profiled me when saying not to open the products. She then went on to say she isn’t racist and she’s not even white (which again, she clearly is). At this point, I’m not sure what I’m more surprised by. I’ve been shopping at dm for as long as I can remember, no one has ever told me not to open any of the products just randomly. If I was actually opening it, I can understand. Please teach your staff manners. Especially the ones dealing in custome

Really big DM with everything you could need. Its almost like a supermarket and even has a freezer section, food and sells fresh sandwiches too. A rare DM that opens everyday from 6AM to 11PM! A bit hard to locate in the station though. Glad its open!

Very crowded on a Sunday but thankful they’re open. Lots of people in a small space and people will run into you. Store was located right at the top of the escalator off the U5 stop.

EVERYWHERE IN MUNICH IS CLOSED ON SUNDAY. I'd highly recommend travelling to your next city if you're in Munich on a Sunday. This is the ONLY Dm Mrkt shop I can find that opens on Sunday 😭😭😭 life saver and I feel satisfied shopping last minute stuff here. Thank you for serving people like us on Sundays!😭💕
