About DAS SP-HOTEL FÜRTH

DAS SP-HOTEL FÜRTH is a hotel in Fürth, Bayern. It is listed at Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 166, 90766 Fürth, which places it among the local businesses of Fürth that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Fürth keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. The listed phone number is 0911 97918833. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is das-sp-hotel.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 335 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for hotels in Fürth. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

Fürth is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Fürth, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

The shower doesn't work, the TV doesn't work, I waited half an hour to pick up the phone so they could tell me how to get into the hotel because it's locked and there's no one there, and I won't comment on the other things at all, it doesn't work, look elsewhere.

Nice and tidy small hotel, close to public transport.

I can only give one star because of how terribly my wife and I were treated by the hotel concierge. We booked using Priceline and paid for the room online ahead of time using my Priceline credit card. She sent a message the night of our one night stay that she had no record of our payment for that night. I had shared a receipt from Priceline and screenshot of my credit card statement showing the payment. She insisted that we had not paid. She said that we must pay by 8 am the next morning. We were planning on leaving before 8, but we waited until 8:15 for someone to show up, so we could settle the issue, but no one did. So we left our key and left to continue our trip. I called a few days later. The person threatened us with a police report if we did not pay. Her tone was rude and she kept interrupting and insisting that we were lying. I re-sent the receipt and credit card statement as proof of payment, and informed her that the issue was between her and Priceline. There was no reason for her to treat us so rudely and to ignore the information we were sharing with her. In addition, the room was not very clean or comfortable, the shower was too small and did not drain pr

Very pleasant stay with a friendly host. We booked a room last minute as a couple because we were on the road and needed a place to sleep. The room was very neat and clean with a private bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and it was a good nights sleep overall. It has the essentials, with a very nice breakfast buffet (with a variety of options) at a reasonable price. The host even extended the breakfast for us so we could enjoy it without a rush even though the official breakfast time had passed. There is a possible self check in with no extra charge, just call the host for the pin.
