When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Fürth is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Fürth, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

This evening when we arrived we had one of the most friendly welcomes we have ever had in a hotel ! Fabulous foyer. Lovely rooms Gorgeous spa pool Then wonderful drink in the terrace bar out front. The local red wine is superb, on the menu. What a setting in the forest Loads of car parking Total relaxation. A real destination hotel.

I great place. The nicest hotel in Germany. Clean room, friendly staff, and tasty foods. Ww visited this hotel already three times this year and they even upgraded our room. The suite room has a fridge full of beverages and refilled daily. This is hotel is a must-go.

Peaceful Location, but Service Needs Improvement The hotel is located next to a beautiful forest with several walking and hiking tracks. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful, and calm, which I really appreciated. The hotel also has a pool, sauna, and gym, which are nice facilities. They also offer massage services. Breakfast was good, and I especially appreciated the buffet staff, who were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Their effort and positive attitude really stood out. The rooms, however, were very basic and not quite what I expected based on the pictures. The beds were comfortable, although the sofa bed was not particularly comfortable. Unfortunately, the service experience was not as positive as I had hoped. When we arrived, nobody helped us with our luggage, and we were not even shown where we could find a luggage trolley to bring our bags to the rooms. We had quite a lot of luggage, so it was difficult to manage everything ourselves. We had to figure it out on our own. I also had a strange experience when I requested an iron. At first, I was told that it would be brought to my room. Later, I was told that I would have to collect it myself and carry it upstairs
