About Cochinchina
Located at Kaiserstraße 28, 80801 München-Schwabing-Freimann, Cochinchina operates as a chinesisch serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–3 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 38989577. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is cochinchina.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 1,610 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinesisch in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Details on this page come from public sources and may change; confirm anything important by phone before relying on it. Business owners can claim the listing to keep it up to date.

There were around 14 of us, so it was a lot of orders, but everything went amazingly well! The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. They also offer vegan options — full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully spiced. Highly recommended!

We ended up at Cochinchina in Munich by accident — and what a great surprise! The food was delicious, the atmosphere stylish yet relaxed, and the whole experience was fantastic. A special thanks to Phu Ngk, one of the head waiters, who made everything even more enjoyable with his kind and professional service. Greetings from Spain! 👋🇪🇸

Came here for lunch and had fried udon noodles with beef and vegetables. Price was 17.90€ which is too much for what it is tbh. Anyway the taste itself is not bad but a lil average tbh and no wok hai. Service is friendly tbf. Overall it's just okay.

We had a tasty lunch at Cochinchina, with tasty original dishes, and a nice ambient in one of the lovely streets of Schwabing. They use good ingredients, and the waiters are friendly and attentive. The price point is a tad higher, but you should expect that based on the location and the quality of the food.

This was the first one we tried from our friends top 10 Munich restaurants and it was a great one to start with. The atmosphere is great, and as a couple you can enjoy an intimate dinner. The service was friendly and good. The food was delicious. The best mango salad we have had in Munich. Over all this is a repeater of a restaurant. Really enjoyed it.
