Augsburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Augsburg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I stayed for one night, and it was perfect. Very comfortable, clean, and spacious. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to check in early before exploring the city, but they accommodated my needs perfectly. It’s a great location, very close to lots of interesting and nice things to see, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was a great option as well. Would definitely stay again!

Nice place to stay Downtown Augsburg. I only stayed one night. Friendly Reception. Clean Room and comfortable bed. Perfect place if you want to save a bit of money and still be able to stay in the heart of the city. You got a couple of options: shared or private bathroom, the latter costing 57€ .. keep in mind that you do have to pay for a key deposit which is 50€. If you pay by credit card you have to go to the reception to get your deposit back, they don’t have an automatic system.

We had been have nice times. The room was clear, usefull. We hadnt any problem about common toilet and bath. But the important thing about bath is that unfortunetely there is no hair drier. Espacially in winter mounths, the hair drier is so necessary after bath. Last one, thanks to all staff for attention.
