For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–2:45 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach China Restaurant Jackie Chan on 089 45088098; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is restaurant-jackiechan.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 566 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Jackie Chan serves traditional dishes from various parts of China and dim sum (only a few options). There is even Peking duck on the menu; however it must be ordered at least one day in advance. Accessing Jackie Chan can be done by public transportation, cycling or car with street parking available. When weather permits, outdoor seating is available otherwise the indoor seating option ifs comfortable if not slightly dated. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. And as for the food, the wanton soup had at least four wantons in it (relatively a lot considering the size of the soup) while the shrimp dumpling dough felt a bit soggy. The Mapo tofu was nicely flavored and was a decent portion. The aubergine with tofu hit the spot, coming in a dish that was heated by flame to keep it warm. And to finish it off the fried sesame balls were generously filled with red bean paste. Overall the experience was very positive and the food delicious and filling. The reason for the rating is the lack of anything that stood out - everything was very good as expected having read about the restaurant in the newspaper. I would definitely return especially to try the lunch specials.

The food was better than expected. I feel that there were some hits and miss for me. I would highly recommend the La Zi Ji, Shui Zhu Yu Pian and Mi Zhi Cha Shao. My friends like the Ma Po Dou Fu but I didn’t like it. The rest of the dishes are okay. Our dishes are mostly very spicy so beware. We had 7 dishes, 3 drinks and 3 tea in total for 4 adults and paid 160€ in total. The price is reasonable here but I was satisfied with most of the food. I would come back here again.

As an Asian, I can definitely rate them 5 stars! The food hit the spot! My favourites were the char siew, chicken, and the fish in spicy soup. We would return again. The service was amazing. It felt like home when walking in because the interior design was so homely.

The place has authentic Chinese food. As far I have tried gebraten noodles, minifruhlingsroll, la zi ji All turned out to be super tasty The la zi ji has unique flavour with black and red dried peppers with some art The gebraten noodles are bit oily but also tasty The minifruhling comes with sweet and spicy sauce which is intriguing, did not find it else where Everything is good and affordable As compared to price the quantity is all good Update - visited back for some good food - disclaimer: spicy means red chilli 🌶️ which we had to separate from noodles as they were not tasting well. This time the food levelled to 3/5

I never thought that there is a so great Chinese restaurant in Munich. Exactly it's not spicy flavour but more suitable for all people. The price really does signify value to the guest and also the dishes are many. We got 4 meat dishes and three drinks only for 70 euro. At the end of dinner they send us plum wine and watermelon (both of them are free)
