Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–2:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Cool, good Dim Sum (pork and shrimp) and noodles. The soup was more flavorful once, I’m guessing not cooked as long anymore. But Chili Oil is good and helps

My favourite secret noodle soup spot in Munich—it’s always been my go-to for warmth on cold winter days. Today, the chef shared that he’s decided to retire, but will still help the new owner. I was so touched to hear this, but also really happy for him as he starts this next chapter in life. Wishing him all the best! ❤️

Small restaurant with very delicious food! Perfect for the lunch menu, dim sum is made locally by hand. One of the best Asian menu places in Munich. I really recommend it! My favourite is Want tan souppe.

My Munich Homies! If you haven't tried China Nudeln Haus yet, you should! Although I think they changed their name now to "Asian Leckerbissen." It's owned by this cute old couple that offers good Chinese food for extremely affordable prices in such a boujee neighborhood. I heard the dumplings are great but I got the chow fun (flat rice noodles) with beef. It was pretty good tasty although I wish the rice noodles was a bit softer. But nonetheless, it was real delicious, especially the beef. The couple gave us a box to carry our takeout which we used later as a small table to eat outside in a nearby park. They also gave us free freshly baked mantou, which was so fluffy and delicious. I will definitely go back because I want to try the dumplings and noodle soups! The friendliness is definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very good dumpling soups. Last time I ordered the Jiaozi dumpling soup with noodles and it was very tasty. It does get crowded around lunch time, but you can also order to take away if that would work for you.
