About ChiangShing Restaurant
ChiangShing Restaurant is a chinesisch in München, Bayern. It is listed at Nymphenburger Str. 98, 80636 München, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as chinesisches restaurant mit lieferservice, mandarin-restaurant, restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–2:30 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 37779637. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 417 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinesisch in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you are looking for truly authentic Chinese cuisine in Munich, Chiang Shing is a must-visit. Unlike many places that offer a 'Europeanized' menu, this spot serves the real deal with an incredible variety of dishes—from perfectly seasoned Mapo Tofu to their signature sizzling plates and fresh fish. The selection is vast, making it a great spot for both adventurous eaters and those who love the classics. What makes it even better is the excellent value for money; the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the high quality you receive. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone craving a genuine taste of China at fair prices!

I cannot believe the last two reviews are so low, as this is probably the best takeaway I have had in Munich in the last year, at the least. Delivered swiftly, piping hot and fresh, high quality of ingredients. Best Chinese restaurant in Munich. 🙏 (Our order included Mapo Tofu, La Ze Ji and sauerkohl fish)

ordered from this shop and got really disappointed. noodles were of the cheapest quality, also not the ones depicted in the menu, almost no tofu, no flavour. the chicken is just a ready made schnitzel and not the crispy fried chicken in the menu pic (attached). the cauliflower was ok but really low effort and almost no flavour. really disappointing experience. i can cook much better myself tbh. also id be ok with it if it weren’t these real restaurant prices, its just not ok to charge these prices for something rather mediocre.

Great place. Fully recommended. Staff was very kind (when we were there it was raining a lot and they were super helpful to accommodate us). Food was delicious and the price was fair. Lovely!

Authentic Chinese food with warm friendly service. One of my favourite Chinese restaurant in München so far. It provides two menus, one for Germans, one for Chinese, make sure you ask for the Chinese menu if you want authentic Chinese food. Their Gongbao Chicken is a must-try! Sizzling beef is also fantastic.
