About Chen‘s Baozi

Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 43 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinesisch in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Stumbled upon this Baozi shop and was very happy to find vegan options. The Baozi is very authentic and the filling has the right amount of flavor. Unlike other baozi you may find in town, authentic savory Chinese Baozi should not have sweetness in the dough part, and this shop does it the authentic way. Will check out the warm tofu pudding next time! Also hopefully there will be even more vegan baozi options 😊

We tried the Baozi and Rou Jia Mo. Very affordable, scrumptious and heartwarming food in the heart of München. Very friendly service too.

Value for money alone is worth 5 stars! 13€ for a set meal with free soymilk, one can hardly find that in downtown Munich anymore. And the food are definitely handmade, appreciate the effort🙌
