The pitches at the front were very small; we couldn't even open our trunk without bumping into the camper of the people next to us. The sanitary facilities had clearly been recently renovated, but were poorly maintained. Full of cobwebs, the toilets and door handles were filthy. The nearby highways are very noisy. The receptionists gave no information other than 'this is your spot'. 2 stars because we liked the playground for children and the location near Düsseldorf.

My experience at Campingplatz Nord was disappointing overall. The facilities weren’t very clean, and the staff were not helpful. I also paid €40 for WiFi, but the connection was really poor and almost unusable. On top of that, the overall price was quite high for what was offered. I didn’t feel it was good value for money and wouldn’t recommend it.

I recently stayed at this camping site, and unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. While the location may have potential, the way the site is managed made for a frustrating stay. The reception operates only from 8 AM to 6 PM, with a full closure from 1 PM to 2 PM for lunch. When we arrived, the gate was locked and no one had informed us in advance how to access it. Since reception was closed, we had no choice but to wait until the next morning to figure things out. This lack of communication created an unnecessary hassle right from the start. Even once inside, we found that the gate stays locked at all times and can only be opened by reception—so if you're coming or going outside of their limited hours, you're out of luck. Access to the lake was just as inconvenient: you have to request a special key from reception and return it afterward, again only during open hours. It felt like everything was made more difficult than it needed to be. The cleanliness of the site was also disappointing. There was dog poop all around the grounds, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned up in quite some time. Walking around became an unpleasant task, especially with kids. On top of th

Arrived here after planned campsite was flooded. Had I made a reservation the lady on reception asked, no I say, her reply was, " could I make one on line"? I'm stood in front of her!!!! Anyway after about 25 minutes she managed to work out what to do on the computer system. Big grassy area for tents. Toilet/showers area good. Expensive for a tent. Restaurant next door closed 9:30pm
