I had walked by and admired the pastries of this cafe for a long time before I tried them, but I am glad I did! We have tried multiple types of cakes and they all had the fluffiest cream and soft dough. We went back to give the Persian pastries a try as well, alongside some coffee. Those were tasty as well, with a lot of saffron flavour and a texture inbetween flaky dough and soft layers. It went so well with the bitter coffee. The staff was welcoming too.

We stopped by this place in Cologne for ice cream and Faloodeh, and both were very delicious. The lady working there was extremely nice and friendly. Since there were no other customers at the time, we had a lovely conversation with her, which made the experience even better. It is a bakery, pastry shop, and ice cream/Faloodeh place with indoor seating. They do have air conditioning, but it doesn’t cool down the entire space very well — you need to sit close to it to feel the cool air. The overall cleanliness could also be improved. The prices were good, and overall we had a pleasant experience.

I had heard so many good things about this Iranian pastry shop, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a chocolate Swiss roll and a cup of tea. The first thing I noticed was that it was very warm inside, which made it a bit uncomfortable. What surprised me the most, though, was the tea. I was served a tea bag, which I honestly didn’t expect from an Iranian café. Iranian tea is well known for its rich flavor and quality, so I was expecting freshly brewed loose-leaf tea instead. Unfortunately, the chocolate Swiss roll was also disappointing. It was quite dry and tasted like it had been sitting there for a while rather than being freshly made. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience for me. The tea and the pastry cost €5, but the quality didn’t match my expectations. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

After many times walking past, I finally got a chance to taste the sweets on display 😋. Definitely have to go back for the fresh daily slices and cookies. It was my birthday 🎂 and unfortunately had to order a cake in a rush. Out of 20 people who had a piece, none had anything bad to say . It was great, fast, service. A very tasty birthday cake was the results

Cafe Tehran is like experiencing Iran in a bite, true hospitality, a warm ambiance, and outstanding quality. I had the Persian ice cream with carrot juice, and it was excellent. The combination works surprisingly well, with one balancing the other perfectly, a classic pairing in Iranian cuisine.
