They made the experience amazing. Simone, Volker and the gentle hand of Miguel. This was a big investment and a bucket list item for me. I can't say enough kind words for this team. Thank you for a memorable experience.

My experience was pretty mediocre and I probably won‘t get another „original“ Trash Polka design. Let‘s start with the good: I liked a lot about the design and the work in the end was done really well. My artist knew her craft and worked hard during the 8h session. However: You pay for an original Trash Polka which results in an expensive tattoo without Simone and Volker even being present or involved. The final design was probably done right before the session, as the artist was over an hour late, so there was little to no time to iterate over the design. The main part of the work was really awesome, but in the end some bits were not done too well due to a lack of time management resulting in me having to get a cover up for that. Playing some music also wasn‘t possible, the service woman at the counter even said she doesn‘t like music (strange). Furthermore, communication with the artist was nearly impossible as she neither spoke German nor English or Spanish. Hence my rating. Would‘ve given 4 or even 5 stars due to the great work, but the experience overall was just underwhelming.

What a beautiful place, with amazing people and talented artists! It may have seemed like a crazy idea to travel from California to Würzburg just to get my first tattoo, but in the end, it was worth every minute and dollar spent. I ended up with a wonderful design, and thanks to Gianni and Gianfranco's magic hands, the two-day session turned out to be rather pleasant experience. If I ever find myself back in Germany again, I'll definitely be getting another one.

My experience from beginning to end was remarkable. In addition to making great tattoos, the Buena Vista Tattoo Club Family is súper hospitable. My first tattoo was great thanks to Theresa, Teo, Olga, Volko, and Simone. I highly recommend and will return again.
