Das Bayerische Polizeimuseum präsentiert seine Sammlungen im Turm Triva, einem Festungswerk, das gleichzeitig mit dem Reduit Tilly errichtet wurde und heute in den beliebten Klenzepark eingebunden ist. Die Geschichte der Polizei harrt noch immer der Entdeckung, und so lädt das Museum ein, sich auf eine Erkundungstour von den unruhigen Zeiten der bayerischen Revolution von 1918/1919 bis zur Schlacht um die atomare Wiederaufarbeitungsanlage Wackersdorf zu begeben. Die Themen reichen von der Polizeiausbildung im Dritten Reich bis zur Grenzsicherung im Kalten Krieg. Die Ausstellung gibt Einblicke in das Innenleben der Polizei, sie zeigt verschiedenste bekannte und unbekannte Ausrüstungsgegenstände ebenso wie überraschende, persönliche Dokumente

Nice place to learn about the Bavarian police, but the staff told me to leave about 20 minutes early, so don’t visit the museum right before it closes. The film about the German police history was neat and showed every major terrorist attack in Germany.

One of several museums you can visit in Ingolstadt. My wife and I enjoyed the police museum, I'd recommend an hour to see it fully. Be sure to.biybthe combination ticket so you can visit the other two museums within walking distance, it makes for a nice solid day of exploration.

A nice museum about the history of the police department in Bavaria. The exhibition is entirely in German and is not as big compared to the WW1 museum. However, it is part of the same group, so you can go to both museums with a combiticket of just €10. The WW1 museum alone is already worth that, so you can go here as a bonus.

Nice place, have a toillet inside and the ticket for entrance is 4 euros. I didn’t enter, but I like the view in the middle of the building.

entrance is 1€ on Sunday, small museum, around 40 min you will be finished. it is about the history evolution of Bavarian police since late 1800 till now, with different materials representing the daily police life. lockers are also with 2 euro and the museum is small.
