About Barthel Stephan

Located at Siechenstraße 47, 96052 Bamberg, Barthel Stephan operates as a hausärzte serving Bamberg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–12 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 0951 26545. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.

Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 22 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded hausärzte & allgemeinmediziner in Bamberg.

Bamberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Mögen Ihre Patienten Ihre Praxis immer gesund verlassen.Mit den besten Grüßen, Yelena Milbrant

I feel really lucky to have them as my Hausarzt. German is my second language and they are all very patient with me and take the time to make sure we've understood each other. I have always left feeling positive that I'll feel better from whatever he's prescribed.
