About Bäckerhaus- Thomas Ipta
Located at Gibitzenhofstraße 42, 90443 Nürnberg, Bäckerhaus- Thomas Ipta operates as a bäckereien serving Nürnberg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 5:30 am–6:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0911 413676. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 146 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded bäckereien & konditoreien in Nürnberg.
Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

We found the place on Google Maps and decided to go. The shop’s walls were covered with awards. They offer many different kinds of bread, and you can have sandwiches made with whatever ingredients you like using those wonderful breads. We chose cheese and egg. The lady working there was incredibly friendly and full of positive energy — we absolutely loved her. After that, we had apple strudel and apple crumble. Both were outstanding: very little sugar and lots of apples. We also bought a freshly baked hefeteig cake to take home. After paying the bill, we asked for one pretzel as well, and the lady didn’t charge us for it. We were truly happy to have met her.

Perfect bakery on the corner. Grab a coffee and a pastry while waiting for the tram. How perfect can it be! I think we were served by the owner. She speaks English! The cappuccino was delightful and our sandwiches were equally delicious.
