The negative reviews exist for a reason. I would only rent from this location again as a last resort. If you do rent here, make sure to: * Get full coverage insurance. * Fill the tank completely before returning the car. * Report every scratch or mark before leaving. * Take a detailed video of the entire vehicle (inside and out) at pickup. * Do not sign any damage report for damage you did not cause. * Confirm the official pickup and return times in writing. Our vehicle had a pre-existing scratch that was already documented, and we also found another scratch during pickup which we recorded on video as instructed. The problems started at return. The inspection staff rushed the process and asked us to sign what was presented as a “standard form,” which turned out to be a damage report. Even after showing clear video evidence that the damage existed before our rental, the office initially questioned the footage and only accepted it after carefully reviewing the video. We were assured the claim would be cancelled and our deposit returned. However, within minutes of returning the car, I received a €267 damage charge anyway. An unexpected charge of €368 that was deducted from my credit card after five months 😳 after I returned the rental vehicle. I did not receive any prior email, notification, or explanation regarding this charge. This situation is very concerning, as I have rented cars in many countries around the world and have never experienced anything like this before. I also attempted to contact you via email, but the address appears to be invalid, which has made it difficult to resolve this issue.

I had a smooth experience at the pickup in Avis München Hauptbahnhof. The staff was professional and transparent about the 52 Euro cross-border fee for Austria. However, I was also told they would hold 70 Euros as a fuel deposit, which would be returned if I brought the car back full. I returned the car with a full tank, yet the 70 Euros was never refunded. It feels like a dishonest way to take extra money from customers. Very disappointed and likely won't return

Employee was not properly informed and it cost me extra money, so I am unsatisfied with this business. They also did not pick up the phone to address my customer issues. In a recent rental, as I was checking out I specifically asked the Friday morning employee #1 (I have the name but will not post it) what time I needed to have the car back to avoid being charged an extra fee. She looked at her watch and told me "12:35pm plus or minus 29 minutes grace period". I brought the car back at 12:54pm a few days later and I was charged an entire extra day (80€) on my rental. I called the Avis help desk to challenge and this office many times and one employee #2 told me that my rental had started at 12:20pm when they started me contract and that only the Friday morning employee #1 could submit a customer refund based on this false information given. Employee #2 gave me employee #1's next shift time. So I called back at various times (6 times) during the employee #1's next shift. The phone was never answered during all the calls. Between 8am and 1pm, normal operating hours. It's really disappointing to pay 80€ over 20 minutes or maximum 35 minutes, especially when I was given false inform
