Ingolstadt is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Horror-Bleibe!

Sehr empfehlenswert!

A total disaster. The room is a tiny little box that gets unbearable hot and stuffy. Ventilation virtually nonexisting. It’s on ground level directly facing the street. The bed is less than 2 metres from the road. It’s just a wall and then there is the road, and it’s a busy one. It is unbearably noisy from traffic. Impossible to sleep at night. Travellers need to be aware that this room is at a distance of just over a metre from a main road. It is very noisy. Windows open only a tiny bit which keeps the place hot like a sauna. Must be one of the worst places o have stayed.
