Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 0162 8600341. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 531 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinesisch in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

The food itself is decent for a imbiss. However the owner is quite rude. In the 30 min we were there, people left because he was ignoring them. We did not know, we were only allowed to place one order, even through it was not busy, he refused it. We left therefore quickly after finishing the dumpling. The atmosphere was not welcoming for any guest. Overall i would not recommend to go there, you will find nicer places.

This is a very small Shanghai-style Imbiss in Munich, run by an elderly Chinese couple from Suzhou. The place is quite basic: no toilet, cash only, and they only allow one order per table. It really feels like a tiny noodle shop you’d find back in China. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, similar to a typical Chinese noodle restaurant, and you can tell that everything is handmade and very fresh. That part is definitely a plus. We drove about 40 minutes to try this place. We’re originally from Shanghai — even from the district where Xiao Long Bao originated — and were really craving authentic Xiao Long Bao. The soup inside the dumplings was flavorful and full of umami, which was nice. However, the meat filling was too soft and almost mushy, lacking structure and texture, which was a bit disappointing. The big wontons were actually very good and tasted authentic, though they would be even better if there were some meat included in the filling. The noodles were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. One downside is the portion size — everything is quite small. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more if the portions were larger. Overall, it doesn’t fully meet my personal

Super delicious and authentic food! Made me feel like I'm at home, eating at my favourite Chinese place on Main Street in Vancouver. Will come again - 5 stars

A small Chinese takeaway with just a few indoor tables, but definitely worth a visit. The food is authentic and homemade, especially the dumplings. The xiao long bao were full of flavor with a delicate soup inside, and the wontons were tasty and generously filled. The soup itself was also very good. The char siu bao could have had a more pronounced char siew flavour and the bun should have been a bit fluffier. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, happy to chat and make you feel at home. One thing to keep in mind: they only accept cash, so come prepared. Overall, an authentic Chinese "Imbiss" with great dumplings at the heart of the menu.

Food was amazing, the mini steamed ravioli were the best I have ever had! The service was nice and the man was really kind and welcoming. Only small note, the place could use some cleaning
