The Alte Turnhalle was the venue for our wedding with 160 guests. It was a spectacular venue - very elegantly decorated and it was really great having the outdoor area for the ceremony and immediately the reception adjacent to it. The service was outstanding and the food received kudos from all the guests. It is difficult enough to plan any wedding, but planning from overseas is harder. Yet we managed everything well with the help of Vadim and his team. And he helped us with identifying vendors for the wedding. He was super flexible. On the wedding day, he and his team were available, friendly and welcoming to all the guests. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work and for entertaining our ideas and helping us with the execution. Fantastic venue!

We went for brunch and it’s highly recommended to make a reservation if you are more than 2 people. The buffet quality was excellent, tasty and a huge variety. However it easily gets very crowded and you have to queue for a long time so the overall quality of your stay will depend on the how crowded it is. For a quiet and cozy brunch, rather go for another spot.

Alte Turnhalle is a fantastic place for brunch with friends. The interior of the hall is very unique and creates a great atmosphere - spacious, stylish, and full of character, which makes the whole experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The food is excellent with plenty of variety, and the mimosas and coffee were also really enjoyable. Everything was well presented and tasted great. The pricing is fair for a brunch of this quality, especially considering the portion sizes and overall experience. A perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable weekend brunch!

I liked the vibe and the food and the variety. Scholocate fountain was nice. I liked guacamole, Tete de Moine cheese, other salads. Maybe hot dishes were more average. Overall great.

Amazing Sunday brunch. Strongly recommend booking in advance instead of showing up spontaneously. Their live musicians are so talented. The food itself was very fresh, from the salads to mains, even the breads are made fresh. The only downside is the drinks not being included in the price. They don't give you more than one glass of tap water per person as a rule??

I had the fanciest „Currywurst & Pommes“ here. 😊 it was tasty. We were so hungry and were first told we would have to wait 50 minutes for our food as there was a big group with many oders… after all the discussion with the waiter, he agreed to go ask the kitchen and we ended up waiting less than 25 minutes… which we were happy about. It’s a really nice and big restaurant/hall with a lovely beergarden. The staff were generally friendly.

Awesome food, location and service. The meals are quite surplus, you do not need a starter. You could also share a mean of you're not incredibly hungry. Service is attentive and fast plus card payment is possible. Good price but not cheap :) It's a good venue for events; birthday, office parties or even a wedding. Minus one star for the hover flies, they were A LOT! (Was there during the summer)
