It was my first time at this hostel, I’ve booked a single room. The location is perfect, it’s so close to the main train station and the Dom Cathedral. This hostel chain uses a weird “self check-in” system but trust me staff will help you with it. I recommend you to come and try to do your check-in before 3pm, so there can be someone to help you with it. It is a very confusing check-in system actually. The staff was super friendly! They helped me a lot with everything and gave me nice suggestions about Cologne. I wanna thank to Mr. Berk, Mr. Tom, Mr. Mohammed and Mr. Andreas. They were all so friendly and kind. If you need any assistance I’m sure they’ll try to help you with anything. Room was good but I can’t say the same for cleaning, It wasn’t that clean unfortunately. I would probably book this place again.

The guy that stays in the front desk is SUPER NICE.5 stars for him.Place was not well cleaned, the toilet was smelling really bad when we arrived. There was chunk of dust under the bed. The location is great as is only 5 min from the train station but be mindful as is extremely noise. The windows don't block the sound well and you can hear noise all day and night and is very loud. We asked for a fork to eat something and we were denied. The lady that stays in the front desk is not friendly.

The room was super clean, check in was smooth and the employee gave us early check in. I enjoyed the free coffee/drinks at the kitchen. Great location. Definitely will come back and it wasn’t my first time in cologne nor a&o chain but first time to try this branch. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices.
