Hiring a tradesperson in Germany works best with a clear brief: describe the job, ask for a written Kostenvoranschlag, agree on timing and payment stages, and confirm who supplies the materials. The quote should state whether 19% VAT is included, and a Meisterbetrieb or Innung membership is a sign of formal qualification. Many firms visit before quoting and then send the estimate by e-mail or WhatsApp, which leaves you a record of what was agreed. Keep the Handwerkerrechnung: part of the labour cost is tax-deductible.

Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 45029518. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 36 reviews, which is a strong result for an umzüge in München and suggests consistent service.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Due to our relocation to France, I contacted this Company in the beginning of the month to get a price quotation. The "Berater" came and was very nice, sympathetic, and said I would get the quotation on the next day. I waited two days and got no answer, then called them and was told that I would get an Email on the same day. No answer! Called one more time, was told AGAIN that I would get an email on the same day and still NO answer. I understand France is very far, and this is no "everyday service". Nonetheless I am very disappointed with this non-professional behaviour, and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible service from start to finish of move. Teams arrived late by two hours each day with no phone call to explain the situation. First day the team was supposed to pack but arrived without adequate materials due to not having any transport. Also only 2 people came when there should have been more. Second day the team was supposed to load, transport and unpack but didn't have enough boxes or space in their vehicle. We were obliged to leave our possessions in the cellar for another couple of days thus delaying the hand over of the flat. We have a lot of valuable pictures which we were promised would be properly protected but many weren't even covered. Bookshelf was also damaged. Not the service which we were promised. To be avoided at all costs.
