Hiring a tradesperson in Germany works best with a clear brief: describe the job, ask for a written Kostenvoranschlag, agree on timing and payment stages, and confirm who supplies the materials. The quote should state whether 19% VAT is included, and a Meisterbetrieb or Innung membership is a sign of formal qualification. Many firms visit before quoting and then send the estimate by e-mail or WhatsApp, which leaves you a record of what was agreed. Keep the Handwerkerrechnung: part of the labour cost is tax-deductible.

The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. Typical hours are 08:00–18:00. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 90161890. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

So macht Umziehen sogar Spaß;)

I used this company for my move from Munich to Berlin, and the service was excellent. The team handled my belongings with great care, reassembled the furniture upon arrival, and everything arrived in perfect condition. The move was smooth and well organized from start to finish. I would gladly use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.

Short review: Our experience with Völler Umzüge was extraordinary and we could not have imagined a better move Long review: At first we were unsure whether we should hire a moving team (due to some bad experiences beforehand), but since our first call wit VU we felt assured that things will go well. Through video they did an estimation of how much the move would cost and given the amount of things we had it felt reasonable. During the move the team was exceptional in their work - quick, professional, friendly and always making sure things were packed carefully and safe. They listened to some concerns we had about particular items and took extra care. The unpacking at the new apartment was no different - they made sure our new home is exactly as we had imagined. The team put everything down as we wanted, with the boxes from the packing also going to the their respective rooms. In total, an amazing team and would recommend them to anyone.

We had a seamless process with them, right from the start to the end of the move. Frau Sesar was highly professional and responsive to any questions. The 4 guys who did the shifting for us were careful with the furniture, and we didn't have to worry about any damages at all after seeing them work for the first few minutes. The charges for the services were reasonable too. Highly recommended!

I recently used Völler Umzüge GmbH for my move, and I was satisfied with their service. Here are some highlights: What I liked: • The team arrived exactly at the agreed time. • All members were very polite and well-behaved. • With six members working efficiently, they packed all my belongings and loaded them onto the truck within four hours. Unloading at the new apartment took just one hour. • In the new apartment, the previous tenant had left belongings in the storage area. The team kindly agreed to dispose of the unnecessary items for a fee as heavy items were to dispose. Areas to improve: As this was my first time using their service, it's hard to pinpoint many areas for improvement. However, one suggestion would be to label the boxes with details of the packed goods. This would make it easier to identify the contents of each box during unpacking for customers at new home.
