My kind of place. Waiter was a G. The food was outstanding. Venue superb and clean. On the Rhein with beautiful views. I have no idea if ill go back to Cologne, but if I do ill be back to this place for dinner. 🌟🌟🌟Wunderbar🌟🌟🌟

This is an upscale place, for a great dining experience. You will find grilled meat, I especially recommend the stake, and wines for all tastes. The service is good, the environment beautiful, and I will be definitely be visiting again, soon.

Stumbled in Google review, and went there to give it a try. The steaks are premium. Definitely worth going there. The atmosphere is overlooking the Rheine River. I highly recommend to book a reservation to get the best seat. The portion is fair enough for the price.

Great place with a wonderful atmosphere. Peter was the best! Our steaks were so tender and the side dishes amazing. Peter was very attentive and spent some time with us with stories of his family and of Cologne. The inside of the restaurant is very nice with a view of the water. If you are in Cologne and want a great steakhouse experience, try this restaurant. Order the filets! The most flavorful filet I have ever had! Perfectly cooked and served with a large baked potato. Thank you Peter for making our night perfect.

This is a lovely restaurant, close to the banks of the Rhine, and a little way outside of the main city. The decor is upmarket and the staff smartly dressed. We were shown to a nice table by the window, although it was dark outside at the time. The festive menu had a varied selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes (the latter including prawns, scallops, steak, lamb, cod etc.). We chose the steak tartare and scallops for starters. The quality of the meat in the tartare was very good and was beautifully seasoned. As a personal preference, I would have liked some diced onions on the side. Likewise, the scallops were cooked to perfection and came with a wonderful sauce. For mains, we went for the Chateaubriand. This came out sizzling and on the rarer side of medium, which is exactly how we like it. This was probably the best quality Chateaubriand that we'd ever eaten and was a great choice. The fixed prices are not cheap, but reflect the quality of both the experience and the food.
