As an experienced traveler who frequently stays in hotels worldwide, I made the mistake of setting my expectations too high based on this hostel's older rating. Look at the recent reviews instead—they paint a much more accurate picture. At €55 a night, this was poor value. The Pros: Some good staff: The morning receptionist at checkout was kind, and the female receptionist on the phone was chill and helpful. The Cons: Terrible Customer Service: The Spanish male receptionist was incredibly unfriendly from check-in to checkout. His poor attitude cast a shadow over the entire stay. Safety Concern (Bunk Beds): The bunk beds are extremely unstable and creak loudly with any movement. Another guest and I both felt like the beds were literally going to tip over. He actually checked out early because of it. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Bathrooms are only cleaned once a day. When another guest trashed the toilet, I had to find the hostel's phone number on Google and call them from my personal phone because there are no in-room landlines. The same unfriendly receptionist came to handle it in complete, tense silence. There were also bugs flying around the room. I barely slept for two days

Overall, the stay was comfortable and convenient. The capsule setup was well organized, and the space felt clean and easy to use. The staff were especially helpful and always ready to assist with any questions or requests, which made the experience much smoother. However, the price feels too high, paying $50 for a capsule in a shared room with eight capsules is quite expensive and doesn’t fully match the value.
