Absolutely amazing!! I have visited twice already and I still had more to see and learn. I would say that you would enjoy this museum even if you don’t like classical art. It is more accessible, since the medium is everyday objects that anyone can understand. Coupled with the descriptions and interpretations on the side, it makes for an incredible experience for beginners. All art pieces have both English and German descriptions, and you receive a booklet (in both languages) that guides your tour. The receptionist was extremely helpful and sold us two-day tickets that grants us access to any museum in the city for 2 days. So he saved us a lot of money as well. Must see!!!

There were more staff members than visitors and tbh I felt like I was under surveillance. Possibly the least welcoming, least friendly museum I've ever visited! The exhibitions were good though. I just would have enjoyed them more without an unsmiling security guard following me around.

The building itself is worth the trip! Wonderful museum, only three rooms but small price. Very interesting.

An amazing collection of jewelry and, more importantly, Bauhaus artworks. A truly educational and inspiring exhibition of the past century. Highly recommended for anyone interested in visual and applied arts visiting Köln.
