The Braised Beef Ribbon Noodles were amazing! Perfect portions and great service! Quite a hot day and they turned on the AC for me when asked! Very much appreciated!

Incredible flavor! Very unique food. Handmade noodles being made at the front counter. We tried 9 different dishes and everything was amazing. Best egg plant of my life. The Plov was perfectly fluffy with savory meat. Make sure you have cash.

Han Tengri is a magnificent addition to the Cologne food scene, bringing completely authentic, phenomenal Uyghur cuisine right to the heart of the Altstadt near Heumarkt. The standout feature here is the incredible quality and craftsmanship of the food. Watching the hand-pulled noodles (Laghman) being fresh-made in the visible kitchen is fantastic, and they have the perfect, satisfyingly chewy texture. Every dish we tried was packed with rich, vibrant flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The lamb skewers are tender and beautifully seasoned, and the traditional dumplings (Manta) are absolutely delicious. You absolutely must try the dumplings with the red chili sauce—it adds the perfect, savory kick of heat that takes them to the next level! The atmosphere is clean, bright, and deeply welcoming, with a wonderful, focused menu that prioritizes absolute quality over quantity. I tried a Uyghur restaurant for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. I tasted both the chicken and beef dishes, and they were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The food felt unique and authentic, and I would definitely go back again.

No fuss restaurant, you place the order before getting the table, they will then give you a buzzer that buzzed when the food is ready, hence the queue at the order. Lady who took our order was super friendly and patient, given we have a lot of questions about the menu on allergens. We tried the national dish of chicken served with rice, the beef dish with rice and cucumber and the beef noodle soup (not gluten free). Food was great, perfectly seasoned and not too salty. My favourite was the chicken.
