Shame!! Of course as always they never have the car you choose in the website. I rented a bmw serie 2 and they wanted to give me an electric shit more cheaper than bmw. At the end of the day I payed extra €166 for another bmw.

I have always considered SIXT to be a professional company. In my experience, the vast majority of SIXT employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and customer-oriented. However, the employee at the Marzellenstraße 13–17, 50668 Köln branch was by far the most unprofessional staff member I have ever encountered. Her attitude and handling of my request seriously damaged my impression of the SIXT brand. Reservation/Rental Agreement: 9736413338 I wanted to extend my current rental by five days before the rental had even expired. Everything appeared to be straightforward. I provided all the relevant booking information, but I was told that I had to present my original driver's license in person in order to extend the rental. This made little sense because: My driver's license had already been verified when I collected the vehicle. I explained that the original license was currently some distance away and therefore not immediately accessible. I was simply requesting a rental extension, not renting a new vehicle. We are from Belgium and ended up at SIXT Autovermietung Köln City/Hilton am Dom on a Friday evening after a highway accident that left our car undriveable. Despite having comprehensive insurance and roadside assistance, we ended up having to organise everything ourselves because a replacement vehicle could not be arranged without a personal credit card. Read to the end you may have answer to where to get keys for 24h rent-a-car. What to say will be not enough for trying to rent a car from them. Yes it was not the office here but the 24h rent-a-car service that they provide. My plane become late because of some people that the police was searching for them. Short story short, we arrived in 1:50 a.m. for getting the car and to went hour way out of the city. The car was rented for 1:30 a.m. but when we arrived we could' not find where are the key-boxes located. It's not mentioned in the app or even their QA section in the app. We went to the central station, but there was only a sticker that instrtucted us to go to the near Hilton hotel. The guy at the reception showed us the key box for the car which is BEHIND HILTON hotel in Postprivatstrasse street. Not down in the garage where the cars are parcked but on the street above the GARAGE. We entered the code from our email but the machine kept sending errors and nothing can be done. We called the emergency number in the app and the lady told us to wait till she connects with someone else. I will never rent from Sixt again. I feel completely heartbroken and frustrated because they charged me $1,740 for damage that wasn’t my fault. When I picked up the car, it already had small marks, and I was so careful the entire time I had it.😔😡 After I returned it, they suddenly claimed there was new damage and sent me a huge bill with no real proof. I felt powerless and ignored when I tried to explain my side. The customer service didn’t seem to care at all. This experience has caused me so much stress and disappointment. I trusted Sixt, but now I regret it deeply. Please take pictures of everything if you rent from them or better yet, choose another company. I had one of the worst experiences ever with Sixt Rental Car. After returning the car in perfect condition — clean, full of fuel, and with no damage at all — Sixt emailed me days later claiming there was damage and tried to charge me $1,710!😠😠 Thankfully, I had clear photos and videos taken at drop-off showing the car was in excellent shape.
