Breakfast was superb with a lot of variety and gluten free options, very friendly Chef Kristy helped me a lot with explaining the allergies and what’s vegan and gluten free for my diet.. radisson blu cologne will always be one of my favourite hotels in NRW

I wish I could say something positive, but unfortunately my experience at this hotel was one of the worst I've encountered. I'm compelled to share this so other guests can be informed. I reported a non-functioning air conditioning unit on the very first day of my 4-night stay. The AC was blowing hot air the entire time — later confirmed to be due to a refrigerant leak — yet the issue was never resolved during my visit. Each day I followed up, and each time I received assurances that it would be fixed. On the second night, staff brought a portable fan, which only circulated the same warm air already in the room. When a technician eventually came to inspect, I showed him a photo of the thermostat clearly showing it was set to 17°C while the room temperature read 25°C. Despite this, he insisted there was no problem — which was both baffling and frustrating. I raised the issue with reception and management on multiple occasions. Neither team followed up, offered a room change, or took any meaningful steps to resolve the situation. After traveling internationally for work, adequate rest is essential — unfortunately, that was simply not possible here. I hope management takes this feedbac

It’s a good location - walkable distance to the dome and very close to the „messe“ Center Had also been quiet whilst we were there in the surroundings and the hotel itself Staff is very friendly, the room with balcony is a huge plus - so is the underground garage The hotel and room was very clean and the little welcoming treats were incredibly attentive and appreciated … amazing :) Small suggestions for improvements: - privacy screens between the balconies would be fantastic - we were not aware there are two breakfast rooms on the first day; it was really crowded ( we were probably there at a busy time). Second breakfast was much better and we were made aware of the second room - would have liked the small clean first day (sign was on the door) Breakfast times and check-out are great. Still more to explore and will definitely be back and a regular stay for us travelling from UK, Belgium to Germany and back - great stop
