Premier Inn Köln City Süd Hotel

This hotel was absolutely amazing for our stay, forget what you may know about Premier inns in the U.K., this felt more like a premium / luxury hotel service, the staff were amazing, they were so friendly and truly made our stay very welcome. An absolute asset to the hotel. I stay at a lot of premier inns in the U.K. and some are very tired looking which is a shame, this is top notch. We were on the top floor (17th) and we had 2 rooms. I paid for early access from 11am, because the journey went so well, we arrived at 10am and he allowed us to check in early. Lots of lifts so no waiting around, rooms were clean and all fixtures and fittings were quality. Bed was very comfy, bathroom was lovely with a large walk in shower and the views were brilliant. We didn’t try the food but I could see the choice was great. Nice selection at the bar though. My only very slight negative was it was a 20 mins walk to the centre which to be honest didn’t bother me because you get to explore a little and see what is around. I 100% recommend staying here, room prices were very reasonable, views were great and I would definitely stay again.

We booked two rooms for two-day weekend gateway. Both our rooms were clean, bright and airy flooded with natural light. The beds were comfortable, amenities were modern and overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing.

I stayed for a night with family. I had read reviews saying that rooms are too small. However I find it enough! The room was clean well equipped with necessities. The breakfast was excellent. Check-in, check-out including luggage storage was great experience! Staff was helpful & cooperative. Good Bar & restaurant is available.location is walkable from main tourist attractions if you enjoy walking.
