Hotel Theresientor

Nice hotel at the center of Straubing adjacent to the pedestrian zone. Friendly staff and garage parking (paid, small spaces as typical in Germany). Rooms are a bit dated but clean and functional with a small desk, fridge and couch and also have AC! Wifi is +150Mbps just now but, based on previous experience, can vary based on room and time of day.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and very friendly welcoming people. Very central location. I enjoyed my stay. Appreciated the air conditioning unit very much in the heatwave.

The breakfast is absolutely outstanding. I have traveled a lot and stayed in over 100 hotels, and I have never experienced such a rich and diverse breakfast selection. What makes it even better is that the menu changes daily – one day there were small pizza pastries, the next day bruschetta, and so on. Truly impressive and highly recommended.

We stayed 10 days at this hotel. The location is fantastic for walking to restaurants etc. Mrs. Nicole at the front desk is incredibly helpful and all of the front desk staff were helpful. We also used the under ground parking lot and it was easy to get in and out of. We loved the view from the room and the breakfast was the best variety we've had in Germany. I would definitely stay again. The photo was the view from our balcony!
