Absolutely unacceptable experience, avoid this hotel at all costs! I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a hotel. Here's what happened: - There was no Wi-Fi available during my entire stay. - A housekeeper entered my room without knocking while I was inside, which was completely inappropriate. I could’ve been undressed. When I told her I didn’t want cleaning, she insisted on staying because she had left her cleaning tools in my room for the other rooms. - She didn’t speak English at all – only German and Russian, which made communication even more difficult. - The furniture and the room were extremely outdated, like something from an old village, not the capital city of Germany. - Terrible soundproofing – I could hear every single word my neighbors were saying. If I understood German, I would’ve known their whole conversations. - The worst part: three days after I checked out, they charged me an extra €100. When I contacted them to correct what I thought was a mistake, they claimed I had broken the bed. - They even sent a photo of a different bed, not the one I used, with a timestamp from 2021. I’m convinced this is a s

Was here in January last year, had a lot of fun. We had two separate rooms right next to the reception. To some, the old building may be an issue and a deal breaker, but I found it quite endearing. Now, yes, there was a shared toilet that wasn't exactly right next door which isn't ideal, but it was well-mainteined and always clean. The shower right across form the bed in my room I found an odd touch but I didn't mind, found it quite funny actually. I'm pretty sure the receptionist was russian, and to those who don't speak german and have to get by with only english the language barrier could be a small issue, but we spoke only german during the entire trip and had no issues on that part. The staff was very friendly and helpful, no complaints on that front. The location is great, the Savingyplatz is practically right next door, everything is clean and super. The only minor issue I can think of is that the toilet wasn't close to our rooms, and the walls were a bit thin so I could hear conversations in the morning, but overall a perfectly fine and cute experience. Would much rather stay in a cheaper place with quirks and character than a more expensive one that offers the same clean s

I was there for 4 days, the place is very old and that is a cool thing, however do not expect a 5 star hotel. Despite the personal doesn't speak english we were able to communicate, was a little hard but not impossible ! The offered breakfast for 8 Euros was very nice, there is room service everyday and the bathroom and beds were clear. There was a problem with the hot water in the last 2 days, the lady who attends offered a clean extra room with hot water, that was nice ! For the price I can say it is a good hotel and If I go back to Berlin I thing I can book the same room again.

Only go if you wanna sleep with bedbugs.. at least room 18 had them. It took me days to figure out why do I have itchy points on my body 😐 Every morning 3-4 more. And they bit my face too. Receptionist didn't believe. It's not allergy nor mosquitoes. So disgusting. The only good thing is that they gave my money back for the last night which was still booked. There is only 1 toilet on the whole floor.. never again... But even that would be fine but bedbugs?!
