Hostel - BackpackerBerlin

People steal from the shared kitchen. We left food and drinks there one afternoon and when we came back the same night it was all gone not even a sip left. Staff is cool

Had some issues with my bunkbed’s mattress being a bit too thin - it was unfortunately impossible to sleep on. But the staff immediately offered me a chance to upgrade to a better bed in a single room, resolving the issue fast for me 🙏 5 stars thanks to the helpfulness and cuteness but please do consider replacing the thinner mattresses with thicker ones 🥺

Enjoyed my stay at BackpackerBerlin! Cozy hostel, amazing neighborhood, and super friendly staff (shout out to Jackie, Nina + her dog Timmy, and Andrea). Everyone was respectful/kind, and there was plenty of space to decamp in between touring. I stayed in room A2 which was a bit cramped, but I was out and about most of the day and there was plenty of space in the communal areas to work or socialize. Would definitely recommend especially if the location is prime for your needs.

The hostel is decent and practical for budget travelers. The rooms are small and simple but functional. What I liked the most was the common area and the chance to meet people, but don’t expect luxury – this is pure backpacker vibes.
