Ganesha Coburg - Biergarten geöffnet!

We went for lunch, and the beautiful interior and warm ambience immediately caught our attention. We were welcomed right away with complimentary papad and some delicious chutney dips. For our main course, we ordered the chicken curry and the chicken tikka tandoori. To our surprise, it was served with both rice and naan, which is quite rare and a huge plus! The tandoori chicken was super tasty, perfectly spiced, and came with a fresh side salad and an extra gravy. Both of the curries were absolutely delicious—you could tell they don't use artificial food coloring, just pure, authentic taste. The server was very chill, helpful, and kind throughout our meal. To top off a great experience, we were even complimented with a small glass of mango lassi on the house at the end of our lunch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and great value at approximately €20 per head. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Indian food in Coburg!

We visited the restaurant Ganesha with friends and were impressed by the excellent service. Despite the many restaurants in Coburg, this place stands out for its cozy atmosphere, well-set tables, and high-quality utensils. The food is absolutely top-notch—delicious, incredible, and aromatic, just as you would expect from authentic Indian cuisine. The service was outstanding, and the prices are quite reasonable for a restaurant. I sincerely recommend it for a visit!

Good Ambience. They have a base gravy upon which they mix according to the recipe requirement of the customer. This is applicable for the Biriyani as well. Since this is the only indian restaurant in place, people visit here. Food could be much better.
