Almost cozy bookstore close to the Gärtnerplatz in Munich. Even found some English language book about Einstein there. Good & friendly service by the staff.

I found some beautiful items here. The children’s section is amazing - a special selection for those who love illustration. I was able to get a desktop calendar for graphic designers. Staff were so friendly and helpful - wish I had bought more items before leaving München!

Great bookshop with a wide selection of photography books. You find anything there from Stephen Shore, Annie Leibovitz to Cartier Bresson and many many more. I was really impressed.

DER BUCHLADEN DER GERETTETEN SEELEN ** BUY REDUCED PHOTOBOOKS + Go Wortwahl +++ For quite a time I am a collector of photobooks, all over Europe, starting some good 30 years ago. Photobooks are a kind of special "Memory", retracing - indeed - history, and (unfortunatly) also the catastrophes of history. Alone : Wortwahl at Reichenbachstrasse is more special, as they buy (I think, the owner lady) some remaining "positions" from mainly foreign Edition houses which normally (what a pity, but true, practice) go to "destruction". In the past, namely Contrasto, from Italy, of a quality which strucks you ! So, this is the SALVAGE (indeed) of the souls, and otherwise you will see the souls never again, or at the second market, if ever, at at least 10 times ( !) of the price at Wortwahl. I remember to collect books at a reduced price for 280,- € in merely 15 minutes, but the normal price would have been in excess of 750,- €. Put it to your shelf, and be happy ! The owner lady and the staff are very nice, and the offer of children books is admirable. A place absolutely to go to ! I like it, for sentimental reasons, if I may.
