We visited twice within two days and came away with very mixed feelings. On our first visit, the food and service were decent, but nothing particularly special. The second experience was much more disappointing. I accidentally cancelled our reservation for a group of more than eight people and called the restaurant only 5–10 minutes later, around an hour and a half before the scheduled time. Nevertheless, I was told that the reservation could not be restored because the table was no longer available. This communication by phone was also difficult. Initially, I was told that the staff could not assist me in English and that I should send an email instead, even though the matter was time-sensitive. After I insisted on discussing it immediately, we were eventually able to communicate and I received an answer. When we later arrived at the restaurant, all the tables were occupied. The outdoor seating area also appears to be closed at times, which can leave people waiting outside for 20–30 minutes for a table indoors. As a result, it may not always be possible to sit outside and enjoy the park setting. The supposed view is also largely obstructed by the surrounding trees.

Nice food and alot of nice tables outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere for family's. Big outside playground 40 m from the restaurant.

We visited on a weekend with high expectations, especially after making an outdoor seating reservation five weeks in advance. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed to find that our reserved outdoor table was not honored. This lack of organization was frustrating, particularly given how much we were looking forward to dining outdoor on a nice sunny day. That said, the food did not disappoint. The menu features some truly authentic German dishes, all prepared with great care and flavor. Their selection of cakes and the coffee were also delightful — a perfect way to end the meal. The location is another highlight, offering beautiful views right next to the lake, making it a picturesque spot for a meal. It's definitely worth a visit, but I would recommend double-checking your reservation details to avoid any seating issues.
