Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

No opening hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times, and remember that most shops in Germany close on Sundays and public holidays. The listed phone number is 0841 12814634. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, weinraum-ingolstadt.de.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 144 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded bars, pubs & kneipen in Ingolstadt.

Ingolstadt is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

An excellent wine selection perfectly paired with delicious food, creating a nice dining experience. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a place you’ll want to return to.

The staff are very attentive and friendly, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. Considering the name Weinraum, I expected a broader selection of wines, as many restaurants in the area actually offer more variety. The interior could also be made a bit cozier, as the current design feels more like a hotel lobby. That said, I truly appreciate that Ingolstadt has a place with this concept, and I believe with a few improvements it can become an even more enjoyable spot.

Exceptional place with a rich variety of wines and perfectly located in a lovely neighborhood. I have gone several times on different occasions either with friends or my girlfriend and the experience has always been superb. The customer service is as well outstanding, Markus and Helga really take care of their guests. There you can as well try the delicious food, I particularly have enjoyed the Swiss cheese founde and the flammkuchen. I highly recommend it, either in winter and enjoy the cozy inside or the terrace when the sun shines in summer! Excellent!
