Terrible customer service, you would expect from a language school to be international and speak English, and since you are trying to learn German you would expect some communication that’s why you are messaging them. Well zero communication unless you message in German. Use Google Translate or ask help to a friend, etc. I contacted them when there where still spots available, a working student answer me and on my next messages just to ghosted all my next messages. I have been sending email and calling but no answer. Now I got offered an evaluation test on the same day of the course I wanted to enroll, which tell me they are delaying me for another month until the next courses starts, what’s?? And integration course are intensive requieres you to block a whole month. Like this is unbelievable. If you have fill the spots at least answer, be clear.

-Disappointing Experience with B2.1 Course- I have been taking German courses at VHS since A1 level and have always had positive experiences—until now. Unfortunately, my recent B2.1 course was quite disappointing for several reasons. Firstly, the course was postponed twice due to an insufficient number of students, leading to a total delay of one month. This delay caused us to lose three lessons as the school was closed during August. When the first postponement happened, I requested a refund, but my request was ignored. Once the course finally started, our teacher initially informed us that we would be refunded for the three missed lessons, but later on, that idea was scrapped, and by the end of the course, no solution was provided. We were told that the school would contact us before the start of September, but this did not happen. Beyond the issue of lost lessons, I was also dissatisfied with the teacher's overall approach. He appeared disorganized and often seemed to be improvising during class. Unlike my previous teachers at VHS, he did not have a clear plan or schedule for the lessons. The people at the Deutschberatung are very poorly organized and unhelpful. Unfortunately, going through them is mandatory in order to book some tests required for German citizenship (and only VHSs offer them, like the Einbürgerungstest). They treat foreigners with arrogance, they hand out precedence without any kind of fairness, and they are slow and unprepared. I went there at least six times just to be turned away at the last moment. If you have a job, be prepared to spend all your vacation days on waiting in queue just to be sent away!
