Very nice place. Beautifully decorated. Food was amazing, difficult choice on what to pick but I'm certain every option would've been great! Service was good, they tried their best with us non-natives and accomodated us by speaking English. Once it was past 7pm it got busier so we had to wait a while for our doggy bag but other than that no remarks!

I don't actually remember what we ordered but it was some spring rolls and the Peking duck for sure and everything was really tasty and full of flavors! The way the dishes appeared was also fascinating! The place is very beautiful and "warm"!

Viet village has central location in Ehrenfeld district. However I found the sushi sizes very small also the amount or chicken i. The chicken/rice dish was very little too.. Another suprise was when I asked for the bill, the waitress told me that only cash was accepted! How come ? I had to pat with my last cash in my wallet.

The flavor profile of the food leaned towards European preferences, lacking the bold spices that Asians usually enjoy. The drinks were average. The service was a bit slow due to understaffing, making it difficult to get another round. The ambiance was very photogenic, with Instagram-worthy decor. While the aesthetics were on point, the food was somewhat underwhelming.

Ordered the chicken speciality dish. The diversity of the plate was good but the only thing remotely a bit tasty was the chicken fritters. The grilled chicken wasn't punchy in terms of the marination and wasn't tender enough. And chicken rolls were just fine but nothing too spectacular. The rice noodles were well-cooked but the broth was very tasteless, way too watery and too mild. So it isn't a great sign when the chopped cucumber and salad leaves on the side are kinda better than most dishes on your plate. Hope they do better. They should, considering what I paid for the whole meal.
