München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

There was everything I needed for several home maintenance activities: electricity, hydraulics, tools... Prices were decent, and people friendly. Unfortunately, not every person there spoke English, but we somehow managed to work things out

Great for quick shopping. It's not that big, so you might not be able to find everything.

At last a hardware store that's easy to navigate! Not huge, but it has everything one needs *& more* and if not, they offer to order for you. Some of the staff are more helpful and friendly than others ;). In general, I enjoy shopping there for my garden and home needs.

It hasmost of what you need at reasonable prices. But so far there were no great deals that I could make use of. The bonus card is useless for private purposes. Nevertheless I bought lots of things for my new apartment here (~€3000). Esp. 8 lamps. Staff is helping and friendly, so often rather busy.

The place was good and you can find everything. But my God the staff in electric was the rudest. I asked, can you tell me what goes with this and this and the guy very rudely said that if you don't know then you should hire a person to do it rather than asking us. I mean if you don't want to help just say it. There's no need to be rude to someone.
