finally found my new favorite ice cream spot! Everything is vegan and made without refined sugar, and you can truly taste the difference. The ice cream has a light, natural sweetness instead of that overpowering artificial sugary taste. It’s incredibly flavorful, refreshing, and doesn’t leave you feeling heavy afterward.

Horrible security guard!! We’ve been to tribeca more times than I can count. The ice cream is always good, the service is good depending on who serves you, but never unfriendly and it’s usually a nice experience overall. However, we arrived an hour before closing and after waiting in line they closed their doors and said that they were no longer serving us because of the heat. Visibly frustrated, we were told by some ‘security guard’, in a Brazil shirt, that if we wanted ice cream so much we could go to Friedrichshain. Which is a 30 minute metro ride away and when we said that that was absurd his response was “then go cry about it.” An absolutely horrible man who I don’t believe belongs at all at a place like this. When after 10 minutes they reopened he had disappeared and the girl who served us was terrible to deal with. We were as kind as we could be and even offered some water mist and some fanning to the girl to cool her down but she couldn’t have been more miserable. If you are going to work with customers you have to be able to manage your own feelings. We have all worked with people and it is the job to maintain positivity with the customers. Tribeca is a great ice cream place for vegan and gluten free options. They have very unique flavors and a great atmosphere!

We tried the affogato (with vanilla ice cream), pistachio, and raw chocolate. Love that everything is plant-based—that’s a big plus. The pistachio didn’t fully hit for me though. I think the base (maybe soy or something similar) kind of muted the actual pistachio flavor. The textures and aftertaste across the options felt quite similar, which made it harder to really taste the differences. Compared to classic ice cream, the flavors felt a bit lighter, but still a nice spot to try if you’re into plant-based desserts.

Friendly staff. A lot of very good plant based ice creams. I took the crazy peanuts and I was not disappointed because it was delicious. I will come back to try other flavors. I highly recommend this place.
