Took a taxi to visit one of 50 best bars recommendations in cologne. Inside was busy, outside was empty. We weren’t welcome outside. Staff was not very friendly. Just told us to go somewhere else… no reason why. Wouldn’t recommend.

The cocktails are delicious, perfectly balancing sweet, aromatic and tart. Love the use of arrack as a central theme in the menu, very unique and tasteful. They are also some of the most beautifully presented cocktails I've ever enjoyed, served in unique, hand-crafted glassware, including copper urns and hand made ceramics. Service was very hospitable. I visited many years ago from Australia and still think about how amazing the cocktails were.

Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Located in Cologne, Toddy Tapper is a spacious Sri Lanka–themed cocktail bar with a well-stocked, average-sized back bar that fits the overall design. Inside and outside seating options are plentiful — from bar stools to tables and benches — making it versatile for different group sizes. Music volume and vibe are well-tuned, creating a relaxed but lively energy. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: The Irishman The menu is high quality, with a clear layout and detailed descriptions of ingredients and flavors for each drink. There’s a large and varied selection. Presentation is a standout: unique leather coasters, well-chosen glassware for each cocktail, and garnishes that complement the style of the drink. Service: 9/10 Water served on arrival. The team is friendly, professional, and efficient. Prices are slightly above average for Cologne but align with the quality of the drinks and service. Reservations are not required.

Not only are the drinks fun and well crafted, the staff is so friendly! Our water glasses very always full, the music was total vibe, this is such a cute but elegant place. Very much recommend it to anyone who'd like to try something different yet accessible.

This place was recommended as one of the best cocktail bars in Cologne, it is a small cozy place with great vibe and obviously GREAT cocktails, and what made my visit even more pleasant is the excellent service we had, Special thanks to Christian for his great hospitality. He explained the cocktails and menu very professionally and made us some great recommendations based on our taste. Love this place, you should not miss it if u r in Cologne.
