We are on a family trip to Germany visiting several cities in Baveria and stopped in Wurzburg for a few days. Craving some steak hopped on Google Maps to find a spot near. Tillman's came up and we decided to have an early dinner(5:30). The steak house is tucked away on a quiet city street. We walked in and were warmly greeted and seated by Silvia. The dining room had a great vibe with nice clean decor. We ordered drinks and steaks. I had the 12 Black Angus Ribeye medium rare with pommes frites. The cut was brought to the table prior to cook and it look incredible, trimmed nice marbling with the right thickness. When it arrived it was beautifully cooked with great grill marks and just the right amount of crust. It was served with garlic butter and rosemary on the side. The cook was perfect temp and that first bite was phenomenal...tender and juicy. I was hungry and devoured without feeding the camera...big mistake I know. Anyway you should stop in and treat yourself to the best steakhouse in Wurzburg and Baveria if you have a chance. Say hello to Charlie and Sebastian(grill master) also. You will not regret it. April 2026 Arrogant and Unfriendly. Lousy food and smelly and stuffy room. Though we had reserved in advance, we were stuffed into a small corner table which also had a ceiling lower than the front part of the room and so smoke and smell gathered around us from the grilling on hot stone, from the other tables in the room. When I wanted the wine-list as it said in the Menu that there was a separate card for bottle wine. Like the headmaster of a school, I was scolded and informed that all wines were on the Menu. The elderly pair that runs the restaurant, did not like to be asked any questions and snaps back with concieted and unfriendly response. I do not fancy unfriendly service so I wanted to leave, but my wife is very tolerant and wanted to stay as she was looking for Steak and Salad dinner. The food was not much better. Steak was smothered in a herb coating and was too salty for my taste. I ate only half of my steak and asked the serving lady to pack the rest for me thinking that with bread and lettuce I could make a decent sandwich later. Tried the half and half set and the meat was perfect. With the hot stone in front of you, you can control how you like your steak, but as said already the meat is of finest quality and therefore you can make sure not to leave it too long on the hot stone. Will definitely visit there again.

What can I say? Perfection. Everything was on top! Starting from the great interior & atmosphere, ending up with tender meat that melts in mouth! Wow!

I ate here last night. A wonderful experience for a meat lover! The steak is served rare on a hot slab of granite and the diner slices off pieces off and cooks to their taste. The steak sauce it came with was an excellent pairing. A real treat for the senses, sizzling sound, meaty aroma and the sight of the meat cooking. Good sides also.
